Default It's gone...

Well the wife has been the main driver for just over 3 years now and she was looking for something new so it was time for it to go. The car was absolutely the best car I've ever owned and I've owned quite a few.. I'll never forget how unusual this car was for Lexus to introduce into the market and my entire experiences with it. From the experience of driving to MD to get the S/C installed to the great meets with local Chicago Lexus enthusiasts.

Thanks for the memories!

(W/the now also departed IS-F)

And an early (2003) video.

Beautiful car, a great example of a sporty GS as it should be. The 2GS is a dying breed

She ended up going with the Ford C-Max. Considered a CT200h but ultimately she (and I) liked the overall package of the Ford more.

I'm waiting to see what, if anything, comes of next gen IS-F/GS-F. In just over two years time the last one will be off to college and we will retire the Toyota Sienna. But I think I'll be hard pressed to to recreate the entire 2GS modding/ownership experience again.

Im sure you will find a new toy to play with when the kids move on. I still recall the day we had taken over the roof top of the parking garage and you come walking up with your cap on and everyone was ready to flee the scene lmao

Ever consider having a "track" car/toy? I think this may be my next direction but I have years before my 4 boys move on.

Great times and hopefully we can get the group together for lunch in the near future.

Sad to see you move on. Thank you for answering all my FI questions. A piece of your car will soon live on, on my car...that #6 of 25 SRT kit! From your video, i'm sure you had a lot of fun with your car back then. Good luck whatever you decide to do.
