Traction Control Not Hitting in
Noticed I was driving today and I had the little icon far right corner which looks kinda like this
with car swerving off lane. It was raining and road was wet, I wasn't gunning it at all though. If anything I was giving too little gas.
Never does this before, car usually always has traction VSC is always on and I don't turn on power or anything like that.

question is how and why? i was driving very conservative and wasn't attempting to peel out.
hasn't done this since i got the car which was about a year ago

Check or replace the front axle assembly and make sure the joints are good and it's not loose. If their bad, any slight turn on highway can make car system feel like a abrupt turn and activate the traction control system. Using a scan-tool is the only way to verify proper operation of the wheel speed sensors. Check the operation of all (4) sensors with a scan-tool. Repair/replace sensors/wiring as necessary.
