Hello All,

Posting up some pics on an option you can use to replace your stock sub.

Is that box sealed or infinite baffle?

Were you able to use the stock amp? Or did you use an aftermarket amp?

Doesn't the weight of the sub pull the rear metal deck down. I tried that and the sub was way to heavy. So left the sub in the box. Did you use any support underneath? Pics?

I did the same thing with a Kicker CVX it dropped right in with no deck.modification needed.

Sorry for the late reply, forgot to subscribe for replies.

The box is sealed. Used MDF as recommended in the instructions that came with the sub.

Stock amp SUCKS ***, I'm using an Alpine 5 channel, it's decent. the days of ultra loud music are over for me..

Nah, it didn't weigh the deck down, then again the sub is not that big. I used dynamat to illiminate any possibility of a rattle.

I have a RF sub installed as well, i have great sound but i'm not blasting super loud either.

ha ha! i'm with you man!! after 15 yrs plus of loud bass in my cars, my hearing is shot, no mas.

I'm also running a 5 channel Infinity Amp to run all my components in the car and the sub in the trunk.

i got a lightning audio amp installed w a kicker sub it sounds good enough nothing crazy work done at stereo efx in houston
