Default Need a slightly longer stud for your Lexus GS?

HI folks,

I have been frustrated for the past few weeks trying to find an extended stud for our cars. For reference, the stock one is 40mm length.

Ichiba and ARP sell really long ones between 50-65mm. I tried the 50mm Ichiba studs but my closed ended wheel nuts would bottom out before the wheel was tight.

I finally found Dorman's OEM equivalent of the 610-266. The extended length version is 610-312 and measures 44.5mm in length.

http://www.dormanproducts.com/p-10158-610-312.aspx

http://www.dormanproducts.com/catalo...ec10_Part2.pdf

(go to the extended stud section in that 2nd link). Yes the shoulder length is 4.5mm longer, but that doesn't matter since the stud goes through the rotor holes just fine.

This is probably the best option out there for the guys running the smaller 5-10mm spacers.

You're welcome :-)

Veron, I have those 610-312 studs on the front.

For the rears, you will have to do your own research to confirm if they are the same. I'm running the shorter OEM studs in the rear, FYI.

bumping old tread...FYI this part number didn't work for me. went off your info and went ahead and got then, 19 bucks for 10. not bad. OK so the Knurl was pita to get in but i got it to "fit" with a lot of encouragement ! I'm trying to fit a 8mm spacer with Kranze lxz's . with this bolt in place i only get 1.5 to 2 lug spins with the spacer. lol not what we would call safe on any level .
i took them out and replaced it with the oem studs, spacers going have to wait. i just ordered 48mm studs. note: 48mm would be the tread length from beginning of thread to end of threaded and total bolt size would be like 68mm.
the 610312 tread length was like 28 or so and total bolt was 44.5. very confusing and cost me 19 bucks. my fault entirely, and to top it off ... i did like 3 hours researching before the purchase! lol
