Acceleration Problem
Hi guys.
I have recently purchased a GS 430 2001.
There is seems to be a problem with the acceleration.
The acceleration is fine most of the time but sometimes it just dies.
i have to literally floor the gas pedal to get a minimum acceleration.
it has an Injen Race filter installed.
do you think it could be the race fliter sensor?

Any check engine lights? Could well be the maf sensor dirty and/or that intake ecu. Could also be your o2 sensors.

Sounds like the infamous throttle apps or motor problem

Throttle Position sensor most likely. I had same issue and that was the cause on mine.

TPS, or MAF. Also the o2 sensors. The MAF and O2 sensors fixed it on mine.

Yup. The engine check light is on. I got a computer diagnostic test on it. The error on that shows "Knock Sensor"
Will get those replaced on thursday and see the difference.
