Default wobble bolts?

ok heres my question i am doing research on wobble bolts to mount a 5x112 rim on my gs.. the wobble bolts are mad to screw into the hub while our bolts come out of the hub... how do you get the wobble bolts to attach to our hub?.... do you have to have the hubs drilled, do you have to just bang the stems out and the wobb;e bolts screws into the existing holes or am i totally misunderstanding what has to be done.... any help would be appreciated... thanks...

Wobble bolts are for cars such as the E46 325i that you screw bolts into the wheel as for our cars use lugs to fasten the wheel using screws that are already attached to the car so there is no way you can use wobble bolts. Now for wobble lugs, Im not sure because I haven't seen them. If you put up a link or pic I would understand it better.

Dont do it.

I did this several years ago...I had some 5x112 wheels...redrilled for 5x114.3 to mount on my 2GS....bought the same wobble nuts at pictured above as well as hubcentric rings. The wheel still wobbled to the point where the wobble nuts broke.

If i were you id get the wheels professionally redrilled with steel inserts. Do not use cheap ebay non hubcentric adapters either. They wobble like crazy at high speeds. If you do go with adapters ive had good luck with motorsport-tech built to spec hub centric to car and to wheels adapters. No wobbles at all! from 5x114.3 to 5x120.7.

The wheels currently on my car are using wobble nuts with no issues over a year. But it I had to do it again I would do what VIPG35 is suggesting and redrill with a steel intert pressed in

Wobble nuts are perfectly safe but it is very important to put the nuts on by hand and torque accordingly. If you use a gun to gun them on, I can almost guarantee vibration. Don't do 21's!! 20's are already pushing the limit and not to mention 21" tires there is very little selection and are WAY more expensive compared to 20's
