Okay so I have tried and tryied to push the rear view mirror back on and it just will not budge. Any ideas?

 

Use a set of needle nose pliers and hold in the spring clip while you slide the mount onto the windshield. Then screw the mirror back to the mount with the 1 Torques 30 head screw. I will take a picture or two and do a DIY if needed.
