Default Fog Light Switch

My fog light switch is loose. It turns on but when I use the blinkers and I turn and it goes back to its place it moves the switch and turns it off. Is something out of place in the switch that I can fix or do I need a new switch. If I need a new switch where can I get one for a good price and how hard is it to install. Thanks for the help.

bananna gs had the original fog light mod is thats what you were talking about

careful with using thin wires, ive seen a few threads here where the pins and wires melted.

new switches can be found at junk yards

No, its just that the switch to turn the fog lights on is loose. It won't stay in place so the slightest tap can turn off the fogs. I just wanted to know if that was a problem that could be fix or if I would need a whole new switch.

I have the same problem believe its just the switch going bad. When ever I use my turn signal I just make sure to hit the stalk and not the actual fog part. Just seems like its worn out. If yours is shutting off even if your finger isn't actually touching it then you might need a new switch.

you'll need to replace the stalk, the parts are not available separate

I have this problem every now and then. I just put my finger on the end of the stalk and gently push towards the steering column.

new switches can be found at the dealer, used can be found at the junk yard but it probably has the same issue. My switch is the same way, it seems that this is a problematic part on some 2nd gen gs's
