The clear coat on my trunk bar has started chipping and the paint is fading. Don't feel like bringing such a small piece to a paint shop. Anyone have a source where I can buy pre-mixed paint in a spray can? I need it in 4p2.

 

if you really wanna it yourself, give a paint shop the color code and they'll make a spray can.

I just bought a spray can of 202 black by duplicolor from autozone, they got a catalog to match oem paint , it's an exact match.....

 

get the chrome trunk bar for like 50$ on ebay looks good too.

What he is saying is that the more expensive jdm one is metal and replaces the oem one, but the one you linked just sticks onto the oem one and is plastic.

I did my trunk bar black and it cost me under $10. I bought flat black spray paint, spray overcoat. took the bar off, gave it 3 coats of black like 30 minutes apart from each other, then sprayed it with a coat of spray clear an hour later. black trunk bar looks good on most color cars. my GS is white, and I dis the same thing to the trunk bar on my red BMW 318.
