its way easily more, dont underestimate it. you couldn't tell from looking at a pic.
If there is no frame damage and there is no suspension damage you can fix it for 2 grand. You may not be at the best body shop in the city but it will look decent. Of course where I live labor is cheap. How do you think all these salvage titles you see everywhere make money?

I'm talking about the one in post 1 not post 8

cash out and buy another one. Your insurance is supposed to pay or you to purchase a comparable vehicle with your settlement so if you feel their offer is low, pull local ads for GS' with similar options, mileage, and age and show it to them.
Pure's plan is probably the best option. To get your car back to how it was is probably going to cost 7k+ and if they don't replace the engine i wouldn't feel comfortable driving it. Once its been hit (even the slightest) there are always unforeseen complications that come down the road. You might get it fixed and drive it for a while but there are major repairs waiting. Honestly $5,700 isnt bad at that mileage. I dont think id even get that much for my GS where i live and im at 100k less miles than you.

Just for reference I paid 4800 in Portland organ for a gs400 with 156k miles with a clean car fax. It had a lot of electrical problems and that is the reason for the good price. It was the main ECM which I got for 280 with key in club Lexus classified. The ECM fixed every problem.

So if you take the 5700 I'm sure you can find a replacement with less miles if you look hard
