Nope, nobody in Australia seems to have them in stock, and websites like bearingsdirect.com have ridiculous shipping. I can get a computer shipped to Aus for $50, but they want $90 shipping for a bearing!
Bearing seal was blown out on one side, and it grinds when cold, so definitely the bearing. Now if only I could find one

If anyone knows of a site that ships these internationally for a fair price it would be greatly appreciated. Can't seem to find any on ebay, just a whole lot of 30mm bearings.

hate to revive an old thread, but does anyone know if this can be done while still installed on the car? i'm trying to avoid removing the compressor unless needed, so any tips would be appreciated. I do have snap ring pliers, just trying to get a game plan on getting the 10mm bolt out.

It could be a old drive belt. I’d start there, it’s easy and cheap. Plus, if it hasn’t been replaced now is a good time.

I just went to replace the bearing in my 1999 Lexus GS300 (Canada) and the MT2027 ( 30mm ID, 52mm OD, 22mm width) IS NOT the correct bearing as indicated in one of the above posts.
The number on the bearing when I pulled it out was "NSK - 35BD5222DUM18A" which is 52mm OD x 35mm ID x 22MM width.
