Default Wheel Dilemma!!!

Ok guys I have a set of 19x8.5/19x9.5 piaa super zozza wheels and trying to see if i have any options on getting these things rebarreled into a steplip. I cannot polish them being they have a clearcoat on the outer lips and I believe i can't take them apart to strip them to polish. I really love the wheels but i want to keep the wheels looking nice being what i paid for them and soap and water is just not cutting it. Am I just assed out and just bite the bullet and get new wheels cl members or can I save my investment ???

i think the easiest way is just to take the rims apart and strip the enitre wheel face and barrels. im pretty sure the face is cleared too.

dont worry bro im in the same boat. just got a set of meisters and the clears are peelin off. i was thinking about just rocking them out this summer and then in the winter takem to get refinished.

Try contacting VR wheels or CZwheelz They both specialize in wheel refinishing. I am not sure about the prices, but I know they do quality work. www.VRwheels.com and CZ would probably be easier to reach on facebook then anywhere else

if you are a bit of a DIY-er...you can polish the lips yourself. It's a time consuming job, but the end result is pretty amazing once done right. I've polished the barrels on wheels maybe 2-3 times already

VR wheels are good, they polished and relipped my wheels.

You can polish it yourself. They just have a machine that attaches the wheel and it spins and they just move the sand paper back and forth.

Its possible to replicate, aka jack up the rear and have someone hold the gas pedal to get the wheels moving and one to just to hold the sand paper then hit it with metal polish done.

Thanks for the info guys I'll E-mail VR wheels today to see what they could do for me,because I don't feel comfortable stripping the wheels myself.
