When I do something I do it 100%. I wanna do it right the FIRST time.
Electrical taping over the slot is going to be tacky and bug my everyday.I guess thats just my mentality that I drive a Lexus. She gets the best.
Trust me, i'm the same way. I think we all are given the fact that we went out and spent money on some nice lookin aftermarket tails. But honestly, you did it right the first time when you neatly installed the lights and plugged in the harnesses correctly. Those resistors are just simply a waste and if we wanna get technical about it, the lights are a design flaw since they gave us POS resistors that heat up like a damn radiator cap and are fire hazards. They should've spent more time paying attention to detail and making tails that wouldn't need any resistors and would not throw an error light.
But like I said....your whip. I'm tedious too, but some things I can let slide. These tails are so nice and clean. She has the best. Screw that error bulb
I have the same Insurance/Depo taillights and I'm still using the resistors and its been working perfectly pretty much perfectly since I bought it. I just recently put them up for sale because I wanna change it up. If anyone is interested here's the thread.
