Default Wheel fitment guide?

Is it just me or is there not a wheel fitment guide for our 2nd gen GS vehicles. I looked up and down and couldnt find anything. I could be wrong though so if there is a thread dedicated to helping GS owners finding what wheel set up to run on their cars please post up a link thanks it would be much appreciated

I was though hoping that we could create a sticky like the one that is available to SC300/400 owners like this one:https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...300-sc400.html

They really should merge those 2 threads together and make them sticky. I really don't know why it hasn't been done yet. I mean its only takes 2 minutes. It seems like everyday someone makes a new thread "will these fit?" or "I've searched for hours and can't find anything". It's completely out of control

Part of the problem is that theres so much conflicting information as to what fits and what dosn't. Different ride heights, different size rims (diameter, width, and offsets), body work thats been done, desired stance (camber, flush, poke, sunk). And then a whole bunch more questions for tires once you found the rims you want that you think fit, Fat set-up, streach. The search works great for finding information but when one person says it fits fine and the next thread says it dosn't it gets confussing for a new CL member, mostly because there are many posts that lack part of the important information needed. All the variables must be known to know if it fits or not. Forgetting for example to mention the offset would change everything, but equally important are all the other factors.

I'm not defending those that don't search, but for those that do it would be better having one thread with the first post that clearly covers all variables. It would take more then 2 minutes, but be done right. Give more time it could also include a quick explanation of why all the variables are important. As example how ride height alone can change so drastically what fits and what dosn't, and make the same wheels be sunk, flush, or poke out.

If I make it sound complicated to chose the right wheels, it's because it is. And even then there will still be those that will ask twice before spending 2-5K on wheels.
