The steering wheel on my 2003 GS300 makes a loud gear noise as it is retracting when you turn off the car. If I help it with the retraction is is quieter (or completely quiet). I am hoping that this is a "lubrication" issue and can be resolved. Has anyone else had this issue and were able to cure it with lube or had to replace a gear?
