You keep making new M2 threads, you should just update one of your other existing threads.

Or it would be more benificial to others to add videos to the exhaust sound clip collection thread sticky that is for the sole purpose of having a single place where everyone in the future can easily find videos of all available exhausts in one thread where they should be.

I posted it for you. Again sounds beastly. Very short money for the upgrade and you installed it yourself.
No need to spend big money on a 14yr old car. Good job.

Since when does this make any sense?

Vehicle age has nothing to do with what amount of money should be spent on a car...

The owners purpose and goal for the car and their financial state/disposable income level is more what should be dictating the monetary level of customization.

This is why the GS community will soon turn to ****..If it hasn't already. Take pride on what you own, its not about dropping 10gs on an exhaust but rather doing **** right....

Puttin an exhaust on the GS is not just about putting an exhaust. The car is a luxury car and only a hand full of exhaust will elevate the luxury aspect, the others will make it sound like a mustang. Is the young, and unfortunate crowd that slaps anything on the car, not limited to exhausts systems and claims its up to par with the quality products available and/or once available. Guess what Tuff cookies, but that's the way the world turns..Those who can and those who cant and imitate..

Does your quote apply to any high end car that has become affordable because of its age? NO..THEY TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR CAR...

I Admire your passion on this forum but I fully stand by what I said. I bet if he paid twice as much there would be less criticism. He accomplished what he wanted on his set budget. At the end of the day he's happy. People put expensive "High end" aftermarket "CRAP" on their cars all the time and most of the time it takes away from the classiness of a "luxury" car.

I beg to differ on your statement. There are people out there that put high end "aftermarket CRAP" on 1967 american muscle cars and still the car keeps its classy look and sounds like a beast but that car with all that is still worth a lot more than a 2nd gen GS. An around the same price as the new GS. An putting aftermarket stuff on this car does raises the value of the car some members on here would agree with me. So I'm sorry sometimes its worth the "Aftermarket Crap"

Maybe I'm being perceived as a old man or something saying "aftermarket crap". I am in my mid 30's
I chose to have the "stock showroom' look. Of course not all mods are crap. Some are tasteful. At the end of the day the 2nd gen Gs came out 14 yrs ago and for me is it worth spending hundreds or even $1000s modding it? The answer is "No"

Your money, your car, spend it any way you like.

I agree with this one hundred percent. It's not that those exhausts like for example this M2 exhaust don't sound good, they do! But just not on a Lexus. On American muscle yeah sure! But don't be putting screaming loud, rumbly exhaust on your LUXURY FOUR DOOR sedan. It's just not right.

There will be some that like the louder exhaust on a lexus just as some will say one shouldn't drift a lexus.

It's a matter of opinion. I personally won't go spend 2000$ on a prussian blue, or 3000$ on the Sessions GS Titan Exhaust. A Junction produce at 1500$ could perhaps meet the requirments of some people like me but again it's just a rear section. But the m2 is loud, full catback and costs 400$ and makes some people happy they bought it.
