Question Don't Think So!

Sasha - I wouldn't even try cutting & re-sealing your box as I don't think U'll get it completely sealed again! I gave up on the idea of the rear STB when I put my box in. Probably would be best if U just built another box that would allow the STB to go across the top of it, if u HAD to have the brace. I wouldn't like the potential resonance or rattling ( although a small likelyhood of occuring ) with a brace above my subs, even if it would fit. I'll have to take my enclosure completely out when it comes time for a rear strut change anyway!

Well Sasha, if you're looking for a more stable ride from ur car, then the best thing to do is to just get rid of the box. You're trying to use the brace to hold the shocks, but then all the extra weight from the box is killing the performance and handling of the car. (Unless the extra weight created 50/50 distribution, )

Just my 2 pennies. Don't know if they're actually true so don't quote me on that, although they do sound like that's the deal.

I talked with the importer for Tom's Racing and because of the liability issue he doesn't want to really bring them in at this time. You would have to sign a waiver stating they were for "off road use only"

Tom's doesn't make their own pads, probably generic in nature.
