Default Advice on spacers.

Hello cl. ive been looking around the forums, and just couldnt find anything, maybe just overlooked..i understand how to measure spacer gap, but car is gettin prepped to get painted and want to throw them on so if i need to roll fenders i can do so.

Im currently flushed (tires tucked)..want rims to poke out just a little, rear and fronts.

19x9.5 +23 225/35/19 front
19x11 +24 255/55/19 rear

All advice are appreciated. Thanks!

What are you asking??? If you use them make sure to get hub centric so you don't have vibrations. I have H&R 25mm on my rear. They are the smallest size that actually bolt to the original lug nuts and then the wheel bolts to the spacer itself. These are the only style I would use but it sounds like 25mm would be to big if your already flush. Here is a link of the type I am talking about...

I am no expert but I would think you HAVE to roll the fenders to poke wheel unless you have a real wide wheel and super stretched tire, or run some serious camber.

Someone correct me if I am incorrect.

Roll/shave it regardlessly. Safety precaution and you only have to do it once + you can fit more wheels.

Do 10mm spacer

Both front and back. I see a bigger gap in the front (from fender to tire, width wise) and rear fender is barley touching rim. so im guessing maybe a 10mm will do the rear?...but like i said i know rolling will have to be done.

If you have a bigger gap in the front put on a bigger spacer in the front, it's a common practice.

Sounds like you already have an idea of what the cars going to look like and what you want. I'd suggest sticking with a nice name brand spacers such as H&Rs not some crap picked up on ebay for a song and a dance. Remember the spacers are acting as an extension of your hubs, you don't want them to fail.

Also if you're going to for the stretch and poke look, go all out 20mm rear 15mm front or vice versa. Go big or go home.

As long as you use the proper length studs (H&R includes them many other companies don't) running the style spacer which is held on via the wheel and lug nuts is fine.

Its fine if your willing to put more stress on the studs rather than the hub and willing to take that risk!!! Length of the studs has nothing to do with it!!!

I've ran spacers and extended studs for many years on track cars and daily drivers, never have a snapped a stud. They are secured tightly inside the spacer so your not really putting any extra stress on them, the center hub of the spacer rest on the hub of the car, the weight rests on that not on the spacers.

Now the studs have to be the proper length for your spacers, if they are not you will not get enough turns of the lugs to safely secure your wheel and you run the risk of having some pretty bad things happen.
