Hey Buddys

I just tried to install a Momo shift boot for the poor mans manual conversion.
Took the console off and wrapped it around the base of the shifter, however trying to put the console back on proved to be a PITA. The leather seems to be too thick to allow the shifter bezel to fit around the base, therefore not allowing the console to clip in fully.

A temp work around was to remove the bezel but this looks ****e.

Any suggestions?

No one has a shift boot installed in their GS. We have gated shifters.

I think your in the wrong section, i know that people do this to the SC

 

HI98GS did this to his ride...

 

I stand corrected, i've never seen it before. Then again i've only had my gs since november. Looks tacky

They all seem to have the shifter bezel installed fine along with the boot.

 

Got it to fit finally. Just needed some convincing. Here's some pics if anyone's interested.
