Default So what do you guys think?

i just bought this grill along with a few other members that hasn't even been made yet (well get towards the middle/end of May) as i got tired of trying to find a JP grill for a decent price but already im wondering if i should sell it and buy a JP instead. the prices aren't to far off although this one was a few hundred cheaper its nothing substantial that if I'm ok to spend this much im ok to spend that much on the JP one. one day im stoked about it and the next day im not...what do you guys think?

JP grill (picture borrowed from REV-01 from here (and if i could find a JP for this price anymore i would have snatched it up in a heartbeat)

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/2ge...s-98-05-a.html

the new grill being made from Taba over at Jzsinternational, btw dont bother guys these were a Pre-order deal and if you werent in on it yet you not getting it atm

Thats dope i say keep it - the fact that there wont be too many around is a big reason i'd keep it. Maybe u'll come across someone who would want to trade the JP straight across later.

Honestly Brian it's hard to say if it looks good or not just yet. That grille wasn't finished either and we don't have any other real shots of it, hence why i'm waiting for you to get yours then i'll see if I want one, LOL.

I mean it looks good and all and I have high hopes for it, but until we see a final production with high res pics with the whole car etc and from different angles, the JP still tops it.

If you do get it though and you do not end up liking it, I will purchase it from you if i'm feeling it.

So I call dibs.

Go with the JZS grille. Not only is it borderless (which I like) compared to the JP grille, it's also available in a Black Chrome finish IIRC.

good point....its not rare per se its just not in production yet so it could easily become the next TRD/TTE grill or it could not pan out and then it will be super rare

true true daniel.... i know these are pre-production pics but it wont look terribly far off from that (im hoping) but even looking at it, i still like the JP one a little more myself but again its hard to tell, till its here

well i know Kam and myself are getting one but i think the pre-production was limited to 3 grills (although i think they extended it to 5) and Taba wouldnt tell me who the others were so no dibs....till its paid for lol speaking of. i think im ready to sell those other things now

its actually not available in black chrome (taba says black & chrome not black chrome), i tried and tried and tried to get it done in black chrome but to no avail, regardless of whats being said its not available in black chrome..just the "black and buff chrome".nor did taba say that it really ever will be just that its ".now we all know me and i could easily have it done it black chrome which i have already though about doing. there was a member who sold a JP grill he had done in black chrome and it looked amazing also

yeah,my fav thing about this is that its a frame-less grill

Wazzap Brian. I got a quote from Taba also when he mentioned the first batch of orders. You're right, price difference isn't that far off with the JP grill. I didnt order cause I kinda wanted to see other members put it on and share pics. I say try it out and see how it goes. Maybe someone might want to trade for it later..?

Well I was just saying when you got it and if you weren't satisfied i'll take it, haha.

As far as the other items.. Which ones are we speaking on? I know I asked you about your 01+ Grille.. Just let me know prices. Right now my hands are tied with paying stuff off so give me a couple weeks. Tommy was wanting me to break off a little more bread for the LXZ's so my cash supply for other parts is cut short at the moment and I have to go get a few things for my gf since this past weekend was her birthday, so money is tight, but like I said a couple more weeks and I should be okay.

I think it looks good, I would like to see some different angles further away.

Does it come in a shell? Or do you modify the stock one to mount it inside??

Well I say go through with it Brian, surely it will sell here if you don't like it. I'm kinda digging it..

I am not feeling the borderless design of the JZS grill. Somehow it doesn't look right where it is supposed to meet with the hood (on the sides).
