Exclamation I need some help please

Hello everyone, I have a 2004 gs300 with halogen headlights, and I researched for a few weeks now, so i would appreciate some constructive advice and assistance not lashing out and ridicule, thanks. I will eventually like to do a retrofit, but not just yet, I purchased these items (for fogs and low beams) to try and do the best possible hid upgrade, because I have been reading the D2R bulbs produce alot less glare in halogen housing than using the standard bulbs that come with the kit. Now, I am unsure how the D2R bulbs are going to be secured in my housing? I have not received any of the items as of yet, but It is too late to cancel the orders. Any help is appreciated, thank you and have a good day!

The raptor is from ddm tuning, the other two parts are from amazon.

You bought the incorrect 'adapter'. Cars with "H4" bulbs have a metal bracket (I guess is what you can call it) which holds the bulb in. While the 9005 9006 etc are pressed in then turned to hold in place, the H4 is set in place and a wire swings over to hold it in place (similar to the D2S and D2R bulb). So this adapter is made with the assumption that since the buyer has the wire already there, the wire goes over both the bulb and adapter and holds it in... So its not gonna work buddy

The red line is tracing the bracket I speak of, follow it on the original picture to see how it works:

However, I suppose we can fabricate our own swinging bracket to hold them (I had to do that with my retro because it didnt come with that wire bracket thingy) however I believe we'd have to remove the headlight to properly make it.

I dont see anything stopping you from using the 9006 that goes in our housing AND using that shield they gave you, slightly modified of course. We can try it out, I have a ton of 9006 HID's you can use until its time to do the retro.

Dont think you needed to buy the brackets, 1 they should come with them already. 2 You won't have anywhere to mount them without drilling. Could just double side sticky tape it.

Thank you for the responses sirs....How about if i were to purchase some 6000k rebased 9006 d2r hid bulbs, instead of the standard d2r bulbs, maybe ddm tuning will exchange them for me as soon as i receive them.
