same wheel locks? dfw texas area i need help
ok guys just bought my gs300 but the guy that i purchased the car from is stalling to get me the lock to the factory wheel lock and i doubt it he has it anyway but i was wondering do the gs300 all have the same factory wheel lock? its like a clover shape if so and if anybody can meet me up so i can use your key to take off these locks that would be awsome thanks guys or oh yeah if anyone has an extra key that i can purchase from them thanks again
I do have a key, but it's all stripped out. I had NTB hammer off all of the old locks and replace them with OEM lugs.
Usually the dealers have a master key set, ask them.
I know for a fact bmw dealers have this. You can actually purchase the key set but its upwards of thousands of dollars AND you need to have the right credentials.

The point of a security lock is there are hundreds of patterns, they do repeat, but the chance that someone else you are meeting up with has the exact same pattern as you is slim.
Call around to any tire/wheel shop and ask and find one that can do it for a relatively low fee. They have tools that can help take it off, or will just bang on or weld on a slightly bigger socket.
buy and bring new set of locks or lugs.

You should call and start asking.
When my friend had to do this, most places charged at least some fee.
It's usually something that varies a lot and they make up since this is not a commonly asked for service they compete on.
Some quoted a high price like $50/tire. My friend found a shop that would do it for $10/each and that sounded fair and that's where he got it done.
