I have read through the threads about upgrading 98-00 GS steering wheel with a 1-05 steering wheel. It seems like you have to take the 01-05 steering wheel and use a 01-03 RX air bag because of the single stage air bag. My question is can you use your old single stage air bag piece (i don't know what the name is) but there is 4 bolts holding it in and swap it to 01-05 steering wheel and take the 2 stage piece off the 01-05 steering wheel and make the swap that way? Sorry if this doesn't make since, I don't know all the terms for the steering wheel.

Thanks for the help. So after reading it seems like you can swap your 1 stage unit with the 2 stage unit on 01-05 air bag, BUT there is a chance the bolts might not line up. Correct me if I'm wrong.
