Default Stant Gas Cap, Anyone Ever Try It?

I need a new gas cap and found this while searching. I know ebay isn't the most reliable source for parts but this doesn't seem too bad. Anyone have experience with these?

I believe a bunch of new Fords are shifting into this style of cap

I believe there is a flap of some sort, so it should only be "open" when you insert a nozzle in there (that's what she said)
It should avoid the operator error of not tightening the gas cap properly and triggering the EGR Check Engine light, and should reduce evaporation losses slightly.

You mean trigger the EVAP code?

Yea all the new Fords come with this type of gas cap which has a flap that "locks" and won't open unless you actually insert the gas pump nozzle. I'm just questioning the quality of these on ebay. I mean, it looks good, but I'm just kinda iffy about it. Has anyone tried one, or know of someone who has?

Nothing wrong with it, but if I can upgrade and make my life just the slight bit easier why not? Plus it's just something new that I'd like to try and just wanted to see if anyone had any experience with it?

I've not used that one, but I've used Stant before. If it is truly a Stant, it should be fine. It's a quality company that has been around forever.
