Unhappy which HID ???????? Need help!

Did any one use Mcculloch HID here?? I am in the market for HID, but don't know Philips' 6000K HID looks better or Mcculloch's HID looks better?? Any idea??
Second question. There are some 6000K HID on ebay, the guy claimed its philips. But, the box that comes with the HID isn't the same as other ones that I saw at some other places.......How can I determine whether the whole package is really from philips (bulbs, ballast, and parts)?

the mcculluch comes in 2 kits. i think one is 4300k and the one i have is 5300k. the 5300k is really white i like it a lot. the quality is really good also. i have the mcculluch kit in my Projector fog lights. and my BMW E39 retro in my low beam. my fogs are pointed out a LITTLE and the low are pointed straight. on the freeway i light up about 3 lanes to the right and 3 lanes to the left. seriously. LOL.

I have the Mcculloch kit on my NSX and it looks really good.

I was torn between getting the Hella kit and then they showed me the Mcculloch kit. The quality is much better than the Hella kits. I was told to stay away from the Phillips kits as the bulbs fade in color over age. My friend was just having issues with his Phillips kit, and once he tore the ballasts open...he could see that they were made by Hella for Phillips. (he fixed his lights and it had nothing to do with the kit, just a fuse).

I would stick with the Mcculloch kit for sure. It looks more like oem without the violet/pink (not purple) color of the 6000+K kits.

Hello X,
Just wondering if the Hella kit that your friend bought was the 7000K kit, or if it was lower. I have seen the 7000K kit and it looks pretty close to the "purple" color of the GS OEM.. Just wondering what your McCollough kit was rated at. How long have you had it?

I've seen the Mcculloch kit on a nsx and its a great kit. The only complaint I have is it's not very wide.

BTW I didn't know that NSX came w/ projectors (the older one).

I personally like Mcculloch HID's..............could be because there also on my SC300 I put the 5000k on with projectors and to me it's a very nice pattern.white with a hint of blue

I'll be doing a GB on them for $490.00 which includes shipping, factory connectors, 45 minutes to an hour for install.........
