Key fob range is very short..

I have two quirks. My key fob has a very short range, if I want to lock/unlock the car I literally have to stand next to it.

My key fob is pretty sad too, I have to be within 10 feet, new battery in the fob and in the car, I too would like to know why....

replace battery. you can find it at local drug stores.

Thanks guys I will go ahead and replace the battery and let you guys know if it fixes it. And what about a solution to my spare?

both batteries probably need to be replaced. you can buy 1 new one and test both to be sure if you like.
