I purchased some materials off of dipyourcar.com yesterday. I also got this new product that is called "glossifier". I'm thinking that may work well on my front grill and trim pieces to keep the "metal" look and not the cheap(er) looking flat black.

Anyone have any experience with the new glossifier product?
i like the cheap flat black look btw a proper flat black paintjob is anything but cheap

I'm just awaiting materials at this point. I'm going to put together a DIY for this when I do it this weekend. Stay tuned...

I'm going to be using their new product called Glossifier. It is supposed to give it a glossy finish.

I would be worried about overspray if you were using a clearcoat.

Well, with the overspray I learned to just wetsand and then spray, wetsand then spray again.

Also, I too have the Toyota 10th anniversary black chrome grill and I recently noticed a few nice sized rock chips on it. Apparently they don't get too many rock chips in Japan. This spray you guys are talking about. Would it be possible to get it in a black chrome? I have some other ideas I want to run with on the black chrome color

You should check home depot for plasti-dip if your just getting the black cans. They are only 5.98 there. My boys have the glossifier on hand since Monday. I will reach out to them today to see if they used it.

I might hit the trim up this weekend if i got some spare time. If you beat me to it please post pics.
