Alexus, you can buy just the '400' piece from the dealer pretty cheap (or from Steve Ganz, etc) - no need to get the entire set. I bet you could even resell the '430' somewhere. Even though 400 is 'close' to a 430, it isn't one and IMO it's a bit cheezy. Even though I now have the newer style taillights, I would never dream of re-badging with 430 emblems.

Heck, you even gave me flack with a comment in the gallery just for having the platinum badges at one point. You posted "heh.. those black logos would say to everybody that i'm a 2000 platinum edition car.. but wheels says i'm a fake .." now you're going one worse IMO

Iceman - got to respectfully disagree w/ you.... black pearl looks DOPE on a black car. I think it looks the best of any color with those badges. Very stealth and evil looking.

 

i agree with dave on both counts. 1st off, rebadging your car, even if its just alittle off, is a rice move. if you have a 400, get the 400 badges. it will only cost you a few bucks (damn im starting to sound like manaray). and i personally love the platinum badging on a black car. matter of fact, i saw a maxima today that was almost the same color as mine and had the black pearl badges. very sweet.. makes me think about getting them:eek:

sorry bud, that's rice. It's NOT a 2001+ GS430 period. Even it's close...it's as bad as a GS300 guy putting a GS430/400 on there. Either way, it's NOT a GS430.

Now putting a GS300 badge on a GS430...heheheh...that's cool.
