Default Heated Seats

I have fuses under the hood of my car for heated seats as well as under the dash , Does that mean i have heated seats or are they just there in case i want to upgrade to the heated seats

by the way my car is a 2003 es300 , i have know idea how i got under gs model

The circuits & wiring is in place, but it won't do anything for you unless your seats have the heating elements.

if your seats have the heating element you'll see a switch either in your center console or dash areas for the swtiches to turn on the heated seats. Could also be in your in dash navi/settings.

If theres no fuses in the place for the heated seats, theres a likelihood you dont have them.

Also, just because theres a place for heated seats in the fuse box doesn't mean that the wiring has been run. So do not attempt to just place fuses in empty slots..

the fuses were already in there , and i think the low half of the consloe has been replaced i just need some kind of test to see if the heated seats are there but no way to turn them on

lift up the console, if you see the wires/plugs there you have heated seats.

The simplest answer is if you have the seat heater switch on the center console or dash then you probably have heated seats. If those switches are not there then you don't have heated seats. You only need to be concerned with the wiring & fuse if it's not working or you install seats with the heaters.

how does that console lower piece come off does it pop off or do i need to look for screws or a place to kind of pry it off , cause i think the guy before me changed that piece out and did'nt or could'nt find the right piece to put back in the car or he could'nt find it or hell who knows cause he just wanted to sell it or did'nt want to deal with it , so i dont no but i do know that all the fuses were already in the car like it had heated seat but it didnt have the buttons to push that come on that lower piece , and thanks man for helping me
