The Ultimate Disrespect
I truly feel your pain.... hopefully it's not deep into the body that it could be repaired. I agree with most, people that do that are cowards. If you have beef with me, take care of it face to face, but don't take that out on my car!

ebruceii,
I know how u feel all too well. My car got keyed by some the very first day i got it. I parked the car at my college and as i left to go home i see the whole drivers side is keyed.
I honestly was about to kill somebody. The worst part is that u dont know who did it. I really dont understand what kind of person can do that. Now every time i leave my car somewhere i worry if this will happen again.
My father has RX300, and its keyed on both sides of the car.
There are a lot of stupid cowards in this world especially in NYC.

Oops! Sorry, forgot we live in a politically correct society. I'll be sure to watch how I say things on here from now on. I apologize to anyone here who was offended by my post. But I guess it was politically correct for someone to key his car. What is the world coming to when you have to watch you say around people, is it there something about "freedom of speech?"

It happened to my TL. What it comes down to is, JEALOUSY. I believe the people here in CL give credit when we see things nice, and appreciate what others do to their cars. But theres always the ones that deface what they cant have..Mine happened at the gym, so i started parking closer. Anyways, it was my drivers door. It cost me about $180 to fix b/c they had to blend it. Stuff happens, just get it fixed and move on, that was my approach(difficult, but u gotta move on)...

Not faulting you, but perhaps it was just poor location. People coming out of a bar usually have had a few drinks, and add poor judgement to that, and this is what happens.
Sorry for your unfortunate experience.

I don't think I've ever seen so many edited posts on a thread since I joined CL ....lol. What was being said that was so terrible?? I guess I'll never know. Oh well.
In any event, the adjuster looked at it and said it could be blended. Not entirely sure what that means, but I should be getting a check any day now for the damage. (Less my $100.00 comp deductible)
I swear, half the time I consider just trading this thing in and buying two not-so-nice cars.
And I DO have my ear to the street, better believe it. Usually by my experience, the type of person that does this just HAS to brag about it sooner or later. And when he does......*BOOM*

Ethan really wants to keep CL a clean place and I agree... we can easily get our message across without all the foul language. I certainly don't like editing people's posts (in fact I've only done it once before this), but this thread read like a sailor's convention.
Back on your problem - I know how you feel and hope the check covers the damage! I think blending means fixing just the spot that is damaged and blending the repainted area with the rest of the (unpainted) car.
