What do you guys think? It only happens when I brake while the steering wheel is fully locked to either side.
For example when I go into a parking lot, or going into a gas station and going up the ramp or when im coming out. Basically any situation where I have to fully lock the wheel and press the brakes at the same time.
I hear buzzing and the brake pedal feels like the ABS is kicking in like when you come to a skidding stop in the snow.
I started noticing this when I hit a pot hole badly causing me to bend a rim a while ago.
Wasnt sure if it was the abs sensor or not. I searched but nothing fit my symptoms.
I think that there has to be some sort of correlation with me hitting that pothole and the sound after ward . Again me thinking that it could have something to do with the sensitive abs wire
If it's only at full lock it may be possible it's a sensor/wire. Kind of odd, do the resitance checks on your sensors, and inspect the lines under the car at full lock. If you've installed coilovers, springs, air etc maybe the lines got moved some and have tension on them at lock.
Otherwise pump your brake pedal 40 times and then check the fluid level to make sure it good.
And aside from that you may be looking at a brake booster assembly like gs4fiend mentions. How many miles does your car have on it?
