Steering wheel problem

Hi lexer,

First im not a handy machanical guy when it comes to car. So Im looking for some help from you guy hope you guy wouldnt mind

Recently, i have experienced this weird thing happened to my steering wheel. It only auto adjusts to where it was positioned on warmer time of the day (around noon to be exact lol when the car is heat up frm in the inside) but when it cool down then the Up down function wont work no more and all i could hear is the click click noice when i try to readjust it. Only away and forward function work.

Thanks in advance for any input

As a previous member mentioned in another thread try some WD-40 on the contacts. IT maybe sticking or the motor needs to be replaced..

dont use wd-40 try white lithium grease instead
