i got another secret DIY project comming up, if successful, it will blow your mind for sure (and save lot of money too). (i am considering only sell this new DIY project (instruction) only just to make back the cost of the project, but not to profit, since i barely get any donation for the site except donation from Ethan of CL. Thank you for your support.

(cost of the secret project is currently at $250(no more), if not successful, I maybe out of pocket up to $2K, oh well, depend on if I mess up or not. wish me luck )

well, my site got kill again by too much trafic, so I am gonna post it here

to disable DRL, just remove this metal bar in the fuse box, use a flat screw driver to remove it (completely), your day time driving light is history. more pic on my site, but you can't get there now

from studying the lexus headlight diagram, i don't see any bad side effect from removing this connector.

now, i need more time to try out the fog light mod. hee hee
to allow you to turn on the fog light anytime you want, using the factory switch...

push the metal bar back if you want your DRL feature back.
Also, it may not be legal to do this mod at your location. Check your local law.

That looks like a jumper bar?

So, we could actually wire in a switch if we wanted to? To control the DRL's?

And your site is fantastic by the way! They should just include a DIY link from here to your site!

Good luck on your new mod, and keep them coming! Thanks for the effort!

Let's just hope nobody screams "Rice" right away

Tim

ok, the page is back up. check it while you can

can't tell you the new diy yet, let just say, when time come, you will know about it.

not headlight mod (too easy), not side mirrors (too much work)

bitkahuna, you're a funny guy

Anyone know if this works? I just removed the metal bar out of my 99 GS4 and the DRL's are still on.
