Default Bad Ground?

So I went ahead and installed my DEPO LED tail lights the other night. I thought everything went fine, but I noticed today while backing up towards a truck, I saw in the reflection that the left trunk light would go out as soon as I hit the brakes and then come back on as soon as I let off. I also noticed that this only happens when the headlights or parking lights are on.

I think it may be a bad ground and if it is, I'm unsure of how to fix it.

Can anybody provide some insight on how to go about fixing this or if it may be another problem?

I'd appreciate any help.

Flip the plugs around. Your brake plug is swapped with the running. Since they both have the same plugs (the plugs that are on the lights themselves) you cant tell which is for which, I think most have had that issue

That's for the outer lights. Those have no issue. It's the trunk lights that are giving me a problem.

i had the same exact problem when i installed mine a week ago. The plug going into the light itself has two little metal wire connections that may be a bit off. Just readjust them and plug the connection going into the light and see if it works!
