Front Lip Input: TTE or WALD
So after a couple hours of research about the TTE/TTE rep and Wald front lips, I found a lot of good pictures but not really any input on how low they go. Personally, I like the Wald lip more but not sure if its more prone to crack b/c it does seem lower than the TTE (not taking account of material). I will be going with an 18" wheel set up-no gap.
If anyone has any experience with either, or possibly even know the measurements that'd be great. All the websites I've been on don't specify any of that info. Thanks

Wald all the way but it's more expensive, fitment is dead on right out the box. The available TTE's are all reps and require the lower parts to be cut/shaved. The wald is an easier DIY job for that reason, I don't think I've seen a wald lip without the sides.
I personally think the tte is the only lip that looks good without sides and rear, the others I've seen look too low for the factory body lines. Jmo, and completely irrelevant if you're planning on doing a full kit, but something to think about.
To answer ur question op, my friend is on 18s with walds. Lowered to no finger gap (possibly slight lower) and he's like 2inchs from hitting the ground? Ill double check with him and will post back as soon as he comes over.
Does that also refer to authentic TTE lips?
WLGS, from what I've read im pretty sure thats only for the replica TTE
Thanks for the input guys looks like im leaning more towards the TTE rep now.. smh. Not looking to get a full body kit, but from your suggestions Wald front lip prolly wont look right by itself.
