Default Changed my starter & now leaking coolant

I got my starter changed yesterday it took them 4.4hrs & cost me 600$ all that to say!! After everything was done I drove to work and I see a bit of smoke coming from under the hood!!!!!! I ignore it come out from work & there is a big puddle under my car come to find out its coolant, now I'm here. Ack at the garage & there saying I'm going to have to leave the car again!!!!!!! Cause it took them 2 days to my starter cause they had to order the gaskets. This is some BULL *****!!!!!

Sounds like you need to find yourself a new mechanic!

Gs3 or Gs400? I just did my starter sat night and it only took 1hour and I didn't come near any coolant lines. If you have a 400 then I have no idea how the starter configuration is.

it took me n hour - 1.5 hours to remove the whole intake assembly which exposed the starter haha.

then took like 30 minutes to put that clumsy intake assembly back on... wasnt to hard just u dont have lots of work space... and that sucker is heavy ..

Agreed...

Take it back and have them fix it at no cost. Or better yet have the dealer fix it and give them the bill.
