Default gs3 blowing hot air....

since i got my car over a month ago it has been doing this...just want to see if this is normal. I have the ac/heat fan all OFF. but sometimes i still get hot air blowing through the vents, sometimes it will change to somewhat cold air. Im not certain but it seems to only do it(or do it more) while i am moving. Whats up with this anyone elses do it to?

I have a 99 GS300 with 71,000 miles (Bought it with 60k 5 months ago) -- Damn, I drive too much. Anyway, yeah, I noticed the exact same thing in mine. Could be heat coming off the engine? My temp. gauge is always in the middle.

Radiator is fine, not sure if it actually is a problem though.

I have a 99 too. Try lower your temp all the way down before turning it off.

We might be up on something here. I have a similar observation on my 98 GS4. With fan off and temp set at max cool, I could feel radiant heat coming from the front dashboard. I checked the vents and there's no air - cold or hot- being blown.

on the first gen gs. even if the fan is off. what ever setting you last left the temp on that temp of heat will always come out unless you have the vents closed
