And you listed the same part number twice
"I bought both Denso 234-4623 and 234-4623. Got 234-4623 replaced and that did the trick.
I would buy both to save some hassle. If you don't need 234-4630, you can always return it back to amazon."
can you clear that up for me so I know which one to order and replace first. Thanks
Sorry, meant 234-4623 and 234-4630. I replaced 234-4623. Its after the catalytic converter.that code you got can mean three things:1.bad cat 2.exhaust leak 3.bad 02 sensor. Before making the same expensive mistake like i did replacing the cats,do the sensor first.
Milellie did you try changing your steering rack bushings. Im almost certain yours has play like mine does. I bet that would work, if not then its DEFINITELY the wider/bigger 17" wheels and low profile tires compared to the 16" 215/60s this car was originally equipped with. Let me guess you have the 17" lexus rims as well with the 235/45/17 tires? if its not the steering rack im GUARANTEEING its the rims and tires because ive experienced this with another car when I changed the rims, i went crazy thinking something was wrong changing everything for nothing meanwhile just putting the stock rims on the car fixed everything. Let me know im curious
yup, brand new rack bushings 6 months ago along with the other new suspension parts. You are spot on dude,i do have the factory chrome 17s on the car with michelin pilot sports a/s.they really make the car look sweet. But why would lexus put these on the car optional from factory if it makes the car ride like crap?
i have a 2000 gs300 with 241,000 miles i just replaced my O2 bout six months a go, and bout a month a go got the same code on my cat bank one. I got a quot for mine and since i live in Cali the cat that i need (california emissions) i got a price of 500 just for Cat 1. any one Know where to get a better deal in Cali?

I would say replace ALL the O2 sensors before throwing money on the cat. That what im deciding right now if I should replace one or all 4. What CEL code did yours throw?

Don' know its in the shop right now for some noise that its making (I posted a thread on it) it bealy came on yesterday he checked the code he didn't tell me the code he just told me it was my cat 1
Millellie, try swappiing out with someone who has 16s i can GUARANTEE it will drive like a better car because I just sold my 99 with 16s and I can tell the difference especially out here in NY with these ****ed up roads.

If the cat is rattling, its possible the material inside is broken. Looks like u are gonna need a new cat. Just make sure it had an executive order number that matches with the application
