Noob Chip Questions
Hey all:
Just bought my second GS. First was a 99 400, this is a 02 430. (The car so nice I bought it twice!)
Love this car, obvioulsly, but would like some quicker acceleration. Thinking a chip tune is the way to go, but don't know where to start. I live in Denver now.
My question is where to look for this upgrade. Anything local? Is there a company I should look for online? Is this the best bang for the buck mod? Please don't flame me and tell me to do a search, I tried that and am still confused. Any help would be appreciated.

where are you? I live in Littleton and my car dealership is in Denver. You wont get many replies for a "chip tune". You will get flamed. Just warning.
You might want to look at headers, catback, SRT intake, so forth.

I live in Green Valley Ranch. My understanding was that you remove the ecu, hook it to a software program to increase drivability and reduce the lag that comes with driving by wire. I'm new to doing anything to a Lexus. Exhaust worries me because I love the quietness of my car. I don't love the way the car seems to ask "are you sure you want to do this?" when I floor it. I've ran across a company in the um that seems to offer an ecu mod but I may be all wet. Like I said, I'm new. Thoughts?
