Default Auto Window Close

I just replaced my driver side window and now my driver window does not auto close anymore. When I try to close the window via auto close (so I dont have to hold the button to close the window), the window goes up and then comes down half way.
The guy that replaced my window said I would have to bring it back to the deal to have this reprogrammed. Does any one know how to reprogram this?

Thanks in advance.

i have that problem too sometimes... rarely but it comes up here and there. I tried the battery thing to reset the whole car but it comes back here and there.

It might be something to do with the reinstallation maybe?? where the motor senses a lil too much resistance so it opens back up.

You wont get anywhere just pulling the battery. Alot of these window techs (safelite esp.) don't know about specific cards. Basically the catch in your window wasn't placed correctly when they put the window in. There's nothing you can do because they won't know how to correctly place it again.

What you need to do is take it to the dealer or specialized shop that deals with lexus or a body shop that works on them, they'll get it fixed for you. Body shop would be the cheapest solution.

To reset the position, roll the window all the way down. Let go of the button. Now, hold the button down again for 5 seconds. Let go of the button. Roll it back up.

Just an update. So I ended up bringing my car back to Safelight to complain about my aftermarket replacement window because I was getting a lot of wind noise when I drove on the highway. So they replaced my window again with an OEM window and now my auto close function works and I have no more wind noise.

Im thinking that the reason why my auto window wasn't working was because the aftermarket window was a little thinner then the oem one because now I do not have any wind noise on the highway and my auto close function works.
