depends....if u coming from a 9.1 no,not really....if u have a 2.1 or 1.1 or something then yes its worth it. i typically have updated every 2-3 years as their isnt a whole lot of major changes otherwise.

It was worth it for me. I bought my car in February and it still had 1.1 in it.

how do I know what version my car has? Its a 01 GS430 and I bought it used so I do not know if it was updated.

Hit menu, then press on DVD in the upper right corner and it will tell you what version you have.

I have a stock DVD from 01 gs430. Maybe its like mine, Gen 2 version 2.0. I'm waiting for a cheap DVD. 220+ is not worth it IMO.

i think its $175 from sewell with CL discount.

it was worth it for me. took a trip to FL in February with the first generation still in the car and most of time the map didn't show any roads. it was pretty funny. ordered one right after i got back.

Lightbulb Navigation System Disc
I updated my navigation system 2 days ago to the 10.1. It works like a charm and only cost me about $60.00 from ********[dot]com.
