Default Remanufactured Starter durability?

I had the starter on my GS400 replaced at 89K miles with a remanufactured starter. How long can I expect to go before replacing this starter? Since this is a labor intensive repair I may not want to go through this again. I have another 48K miles since last replacing and wonder if I can get another year or two before having to do this again.

Appreciate any feedback if you have experience or knowledge in this area.

It should be good for at least another 100k miles. As long as you replaced the plunger and contacts you should be fine.

ive ran reman starters... and from my exp.. ide go with OEM.

ive notice reman starters sound different.. and the one i have now (which im sure is a reman) makes a wizzing sound on startup sometimes.. like it didnt disengage the flywheel or something

edit: woops didnt read your post fully. no set life.. its a matter of how many times you crank on your motor.
