The climate control portion is plug and play. The aftermarket radio section will be like installing an aftermarket radio in a navigation equipped GS. That means the ML amp and more than likely speakers will need to be bypassed and replaced. Obviously, anything can work, just it would be a PITA and not really worth integrating the ML amp and speakers with an aftermarket deck.

i see. but c'mon nav screen isn't THAT good looking anymore...to me at least. 2 years ago i wanted everything looking stock so thats why i went thru the headache of putting in a p800 along with stock screen. but as of today, i'd just get a standalone climate control and a decent double din and call it a day. Besides if you want a flip out screen under the navi screen, it'll block its usability.

I actually want something that is not a touchscreen. I've had after market touch screens and don't like them. The Lexus one is nice and responsive but it's fugly and totally unnecessary. Pioneer FH800bt + non-nav climate controls for me please. Then I can also get rid of the shoddy *** wiring job they did with the LOC...

[QUOTE=ALeX300;6357434]if you want something like this then good luck finding someone to install(i went thru this 2 years ago and 4 shops wouldn't touch it).
I know thread is old but worth a shot. Ive been trying to look for a shop to install an amp and aftermarket head unit but no one seems to know how to do it were did you get that adaptor to fit the head unit I really appreciate it thanks in advance!

Where are you located? I'm on my phone so I can't see the full site and your location, but I just got this done and it only took the shop 2 hours to do. It wasn't as bad as some say. Just get the climate control unit. Your amp and woofer won't work anymore and the center speaker in the dash won't either. If you live in the Bay Area there is a shop in San Jose that does it.
