i heard someone tried this but couldnt find the thread if he was succesful? or if someone has a diy on this mod that would be sweet. i just found out that some of the led's on the passenger side of my tails are not workin so i wanna take the lens off those and mount them onto oem tails. also since the red plastic is a different color than oem i would also need to retro the inner lights? or if i could pay someone to do this for me. thanks

went through 3 01-up tails so far...we'll get it done. Its not as easy as sticking the 01 and up tails in the oven...they will crack. We are doing a different way and will post up when its done. Only when its done.

Btw we aren't doing a lens swap, this will be a custom LED board.

 

thanks spped, why wil theycrack but headlights wont? thinner plastic? what if i were to use a dremel? i am just pissed that some of my passenger leds went out? they are a few years old though, but arent leds supsoe to last longer than bulbs?
