its the plate that covers where the red arrow is pointing to on the picture below. well this piece shattered into pieces. i guess it gets brittle as it gets old like any other plastic. did anybody ever needed replace this piece? if so, where did you get the part from? Thanks!

Yeah I don't know about that plastic cover, but I think i've heard of you being able to get the whole shifter cover assembly from sewell.. Don't think it was that much, but it comes with the top cover with the P,R,N, etc...

 

You can order just that top cover. I'm actually in need of one myself. I've been wanting to order it from Sewell for a while, but for some reason the page that the cover is on doesn't load on my computer.

 

i just looked it up on sewell. its part #35975. it didnt show the price so i emailed them for it.

i checked out the link but it comes out to $62.xx shipped to Hawaii

they emailed me a link with the price list. now sure if it was the CL price, but it was $17.xx plus $37.oo to ship to Hawaii. Im going to check with my local Lexus dealer and get a price from there. Shipping to Hawaii blows!

 

dude...just go to servco...i bought mines there. install was easy too.

 

exactly what i did. Servco Maui didnt have it but Honolulu did, so i just need to wait few days for it.

did u go to sewells price and get one,seriously how lazy can you guys be? his price is different than yours would be since he's shipping to HI from sewell but if u read the thread pete told him a place locally to get this and im assuming he did SINCE HE SAID THATS WHAT HE DID.
