Default New rims

Hi all, long time lurker, minimal poster here.
Washed and waxed the GS today and threw on some old rims I had around.
18X8 and 18X10. I am running Tein CS right now and will probably lower the front another 1/2" - 1".

Thoughts?

looks good to me. even though i generally think 18's look somewhat small on these cars, i think if you lower it a bit more the look will pull together nicely

Thanks for the feedback. I will have to roll the rear fenders to go any lower (285 tire) but the front has no issues. I am also going to go ahead and tint the front 35% or so to bring at least a little balance to it. I have a 1U and have access to a 2JZGTE. I had the 1U in a MKIII Supra that I sent down the road a while ago but I am leaning toward the GTE or just N/A+T. Decisions, decisions....

Very nice and clean . I like 18's though, maybe because I like it lower I guess. I'm one of those people who think 19's are too big LOL.

Been doing some work and am getting there...
Installed front RCAs
Replaced front lower control arms, caster arms, tie rod ends and lower ball joints
Lowered the car a bit more
Painted and installed LED mirror covers
Installed HID fog light kit
Installed Tein EDFC (this actually works surprisingly well)
Installed LS front brakes

The car now rides really nice, much sharper handling and much better braking now but still very "Lexus like" and comfortable. Next step is the body shop to get some minor things taken care of and a total repaint.

Thanks everyone for the comments.
No tint in the front yet--I don't do tint or bodywork so those I need to farm out.

Thanks,
Dean

I am also of the opinion that 18's are all you need. Looks pretty good for a set of "old rims I had around."

Thanks, I never get rid of anything (a house is just a place to store car stuff) and these were some rims I had on one of my Supras a while back.
