Default gs300 won't start after replacing battery

My battery died over night. my neighbor said he heard the alarm but it had stopped. when I tried to use the remote to unlock doors I realized the battery was completely dead. I tried jump starting the car but the engine would never crank, (the engine cranked fine prior to this night)the power door locks, windows and other accessories work fine. I replaced battery and still nothing. I've read that leaving your key in the on position for a few minutes might work, but it didn't. Lexus just says to bring the car in. Is this an immobilizer or alarm issue that i can just reset? Can someone please help , I haven't been able to use my car to get to work.

Had to jumpstart the car the other day, because I had left the trunk open during several days. Car started fine. The car didn't run fine in the beginning as it seemed if the throttlebody was "learning" all over again (ECU reset).

the starter is not getting any voltage to it. I hear the starter relay clicking to on. is there a reason for this..did any one ever had this happen before?

Not sure what you mean by no ground? The starter housing is the ground and is bolted to the block.. There is no actual ground wire going to the starter.
