damn that sux...atleast you're ok....u can always replace a car but not a life

 

i completely totaled my toyota chaser and same thing, out of the 4 air bags not 1 went off, front end was completely pushed in and all my dash was pushed into my knees and whole side of car was crumpled in......and not even 1 air bag went off.

if u decide to part out let me know, after a few bits and peices

charger probly wasent damaged because you were both braking hard so ur nose went under his **** while his **** went higher in the air. fkn shattering.

 

HOR-EE CRAP! How in the hell did your car sustain such damage yet that Dodge barely had a mark? Sucks to hear. Go find another one. OR better yet, go find an E55 or E63. That's my next car after I sell my GS.

as long your ok.. that the main concern... as far as the car... hope they total it.. if not , get it fix..

 

I'm saying, good thing your airbags didn't deploy. You could of been injured by impact of airbag. At least everyone's ok

 

Sorry to hear. Something similar happened to me. I was going to switch lanes on the highway, checking my mirrors and the car in front of me braked suddenly but I was able to stop literally inches from him but the car behind me wasn't so lucky and rearended me. The front of his car had similar damage to yours. My car sustained a dent about the size of a softball and some paint loss. More importantly you're ok .

 

That's fixable, I don't think it's totaled. Just new fenders, hood, and a few other core support brackets. Aribags didn't go off because you didn't hit the actual crash zone in the front. I would wager this wasn't a very hard hit. It just looks like it. Those parts in the front such as the hood are made to crumple in the middle in the event of any collision.

 

I know its fixable, but why fix a 13 year old car with almost 170k with that much damage? And the adjuster basically guaranteed it was totaled by the description. Also my gf got in an accident a few months ago, very similar damage to a similar car, (her car had less damage and parts cost a little less) and it was a little over $7500 in damage. My car isn't worth close to that (according to how the insurance ppl figure it).
The main thing is that the car had been giving me issues and I was looking to replace it within a year, so this might just work out for the best.
And sorry everyone I will not be getting another Gs. I really did like the car, but for the next few years I need to just have something cheap and reliable until I can get on my feet (job, finances, married, etc.) Then maybe I'll be able to do something crazy

 

Damn that sucks, I wouldn't call that a total though the car still has the bumper frame and the only thing in the engine bay is the radiator, but yeah thats what it looks like two people braking and you going under her car she probably has some damge underneath the car!
