Question for those running (-)camber.
I just had my alignment done for the second time by a real reputable shop with a flush mounted floor rack. They specialized in lowered vehicles and the tech told me it is near impossible to absolutely 0 out the toe perfectly on both sides without spending hours upon hours to do it. I am within spec and close to the minimum side but still have negative toe and am -3.2 and -3.4 camber in the rear. so far the wear on my tire appears to be normal with a 245/30 on a 10.5 I plan on flipping tires bettween 5-7 k
Static as in the suspension being stationary. If you park your car, it's static. While you're driving, it's dynamic.
Having 0 toe statically means very little when you're very low. It's the dynamic portion that kills the tires because most slammed cars' tie rods are not parallel to the ground. That's bumpsteer for you.
I run 40+ psi on all 4 corners on stretch tire with -4.5 to -5 camber in the rear with no issues. Toe is in oem spec, its not 0.00 but the alignment guy said oem wasnt 0.00 so he put it to oem spec
I knew a guy that was slammed and had to replace tires every 2k miles! That was also his daily driver! Insane I tell ya lol. I wouldn't want to be spending $1000 every 2 month on tires. He just says that's the price of riding low in style lol. Personally, I rather spend that $6k per year on other stuff. I try to zero out my camber on all of my cars to preserve tire life and maximize traction. I built a custom camber kit that will allow me 1 extra degree of camber adjustment. I'll post up some pictures the next time I pull my suspension apart.
all you guys that are in toe spec and slammed with more that -3 camber do you have toe arms? i have 1" from fender to rim lip on 20's with a 275-35 tire but my toe is 1 degree outta wack? i heard 1 degree is alot for toe too? thanks suspention pros
ps i have df210's with rca and toe was fine before install of the rca. once the rca's were installed camber was in spec but toe was out. this is a very reputable shop too? wtf??

The toe can almost always be adjusted. It has a HUUUGE range of adjustment. I'm talking like 15-20' degrees or more. Not 100% sure on exactly how much, but the 15-20'deg is a guess. It is unlike the camber adjustment where there is only like 2-3'deg of adjustment. If your toe is 1deg out, get it fixed asap! I had my toe out by half a degree and it killed a set of brand new tires in 1k miles! I was damn pissed about that.
