help

hey guys so i ve been searching on line and i dont have a manual to look it up a light popped on in my 98 gs 300 its a pic of a car with some lines behind it what does that mean and what cause it to turn on thanks for anyones help or info

Ok seriously? Thats the tail lamp malfunction indicator lamp. You either have a bulb out somewhere or one is getting ready to blow. Go check em out, Tails, brakes, etc. Have someone pump the brakes so you can see that they light up equally and one is not dimmer than the other.
